50 years ago... & little Stevie was always thrilled to get home before the parents & to get to the mail first. I started my love of magazines, at the early age of 6 years old, with the Wednesday arrival of the new issue of Life. I also explored my 1st inclinations toward an attraction to men with the thrill of discovering the mens' underwear section of our JC Penny's catalogues. I would get it out of the pile of mail, take the new catalogue into my room & become dizzy from studying the photos of the men's underwear section. I felt confused, ashamed & very excited when viewing these pictures. I was afraid my parents would be able tell that I was spending time on these pages, trying to wipe my finger prints off pages 77-81.
I think about this today, as the new, special St. Valentine's Day edition of UNDERGEAR (formally International Male) arrived today. It gave me pause to think about how times have changed!
