Cow jump like a Horse
"Luna" cow can jump like a horse? Well, that appears to be the case for "Luna," a Germany-residing cow who thinks she's a horse and behaves like one too. Schoolgirl Regina Mayer, who lives on a farm in Laufen, Germany, didn't worry when her parents couldn't afford to buy her a horse - she just trained her cow to ride instead, reports USA Today. The resourceful 15-year-old spent hours training Luna and the pair now go on long rides together. Luna can also jump over hurdles. After hours of arduous training, the pair regularly embark on long rides through the southern German countryside and do jumps over a makeshift hurdle of beer crates and painted logs, USA Today reports. "She thinks she's a horse," Regina joked. "When she wants to do something, she does it, when she doesn't, she doesn't. And she's often very headstrong but can also be really adorable." 04 more images after the break...

Born On This Day- April 3rd ... The Talented Doris Mary Ann Hasselhoff
She is a favorite at Post Apocalypic Bohemia. All of us, The Husband, Larry, Junior, & I think that Doris Day is shamefully shrugged off as a star & a singer.
One of Hollywood’s most versatile & talented performers ever, Day conquered comedy, drama, musicals & suspense, working with master director Alfred Hitchcock on The Man Who Knew Too Much, featuring the song that would be her trademark: Que Sera Sera.
Not only bringing joy to millions of fans through her films & recordings, Day’s animal welfare work has meant even more to the 4 legged friends she has helped since her retirement from the big screen awith With 6 You Get Eggroll, in 1968.
Totally devoted to her work through the Doris Day Animal League & the Doris Day Animal Foundation in cooperation with the Humane Society, Doris Day is a treasure, onscreen and off. She is a Grammy winning recording artist, Oscar nominee, Golden Globe winner, as well as the recipient of the Cecille B. DeMille award for lifetime achievement.
Doris turns an astonishing 89 today!
It is darn difficult to decide on a definitive Doris Day movie or performance, the clip below from Calamity Jane captures her vibrant talent through singing, dancing & sheer spunk. I think this song deserves a place in the list of Gay Anthems, who can not relate to this song:

Watusi Bull With Largest Horn
Frankly I can’t imagine how hard it must be for this fella to keep his head up with these things. This is Lurch, Lurch was born in Missouri, USA and is currently known as the bull with the largest horn in the world, the proud bearer of the world’s largest horns. Lurch is a Watusi bull living in an Animal shelter, whose horns measure 92.25 cm and weigh more than 100 pounds each. He’s quite the attraction in his home state and he’s favorite pass-time is acting as bodyguard for a crippled horse that’s being harassed by fellow horses. Shelter of 1500 Dogs and 200 Cats
Chinese Ha Venin (Ha Wenjin) for the love of animals sacrificed everything she had, but did not regret about it. In order to take care of our younger brothers, she left her job, sold her house, car and jewelry, and now in her care are 1,500 dogs and 200 cats. Of course, one cope with such a horde tailed virtually impossible because of the cats being wooed by two with 10 employees. Several years ago, the contents of the shelter costs $ 37,500 a year, but with the onset of the economic crisis, costs have almost doubled. Bull Jumped into the Crowd — Video
A bull jumped into the stands at a bullring in northern Spain injuring up to 40 people, according to officials. It happened in Tafalla, when the animal leapt over the fence and climbed up the stairs of the stands, knocking people over. A 10-year-old boy suffered stomach wounds while another spectator was gored in the back. The other injuries were minor. Officials later tied a rope around the bull to bring it under control. The animal was removed using a crane and later killed. Spectators were watching a contest of "recortadores", where participants attempt to dodge the bull as it runs frantically around the arena. The incident comes as the country is split over whether bull fighting should be completely outlawed. Last month Catalonia became the first major Spanish region to ban the deadly sport.

Sheep - Pig pulling the wool over
At first glance, with its woolly coat, onlookers would be forgiven for mistaking this creature for a sheep. However, a closer look at this rare breed reveals a snout and trotters usually found on pigs. It’s a confusing sight, but this is one of three curly coated Mangalitza ‘sheep-pigs’ which have been delivered to a UK zoo. More images after the break...

Boys Gone Wild!
I have a new addiction, & we can always use a new one of those, right? I can’t get by without 5 doses a week of Chelsea Lately on E!. I think Chelsea Handler is the funniest female comic out there (& I do love Joan Rivers & Kathy Griffin). I think her show is fresh & funny, & at ½ an hour, it is just enough. I really enjoy her regular troupe of players & her guests. On Wednesday night’s show, her guest was animal expert- Dave Salmoni. Having an animal expert bring some animals to the set in order to freak out the talk show host is old schtick, going back to Steve Allen, but I love animals & I usually think it is fun. Well, I found Dave to be a whole lot more than fun. While holding an otter & watching Chelsea squirm, I turned to the Husband & noted- “Oh my… he is really adorable…so cute!” The Husband thought I meant the otter, but that was not what had caught my attention. Dave has some sort of show on Animal Planet with a specialty of returning captured animals back to the wild, I know that I would like to have Dave return me to the wild.
The World Famous Capybara Caplin
Is it a cat? Is it a dog? Is it a hamster? These are just some of the questions Melanie Typaldos and her daughter Coral have to answer when they are seen with their pet. In fact, Caplin Rous is a capybara, the largest species of rodent in the world and closely related to the guinea pig. Capybara Caplin lives in Texas and he is the most famous capybara in the world. The capybara is the largest living rodent in the world. More images after the break...
