Today, with temperatures hovering near 100 degrees, is the hottest day of 2010 (so far). A mere week ago, the high was 62 degrees. What an amazing planet, where plants & animals can live in a more than 100 degree range of cold to hot.

Post Apocalyptic Bohemia stays cool, but we keep the house closed up & then open every door & window at twilight.The house opens up as if you are outside in a pavilion. I am spending time attempting to make sure all the plantings in the garden are taken care of. Last year's week of 100+ degrees, singed the Hydrangeas, but just urged the blackberries on to greater heights.
